U.S. Census, Graham Township, Jefferson County, Indiana, pg. 205. [14]
Dorcus Whitsett: 1 male age between 0-4; 1 male 15-19; 2 females age 0-4; 2 females age 5-9; 1 female age 30-39 [Dorcus]

Dorcus' husband John Anderson died in Montgomery County, Kentucky in 1870 and Dorcus Whitsett Anderson died in 1885; both are buried in the Machpelah Cemetery, Montgomery Co., Kentucky. I have no record of their marriage. This census seems to indicate that her married name may have been Whitsett in 1840. The only mention of Dorcus as a child of James and Betsey Hutten Whitsett is Hazel M. Boyd notes; she is not listed in any of the estate related documents, which leads me to believe that she was not a daughter, but married Whitsett male probably in Jefferson County, Indiana and her maiden name is unknown.[1,13,14]
